I also stand about 5 foot 10. But bigger around than you (Sorry to say). I just got back from yet another visit to the dealer and the new 99 is actually a new 98. He's gone down on the price to $3,600.00. I did find a used Black Savage (don't know the year)at the Kawasaki dealer and they wanted $1,600.00 for it. But, don't even have that much now thanks to uncle Sam. I am a truckdriver in California and haul mainly ag stuff. Seasonal produce and that sort of thing. Not much money to be made in the winter so will have to wait until summer. If I can ever get this weight thing under control I think the Savage will be perfect. But, not many skinny truckdrivers around here. hahhaha, that is what I tell myself to make me feel better. hahaha
